First things first, these two golf balls get improved upon every two years. Instead of resting on their laurels, Titleist brings out new models that continually offer the golfer something extra. So, if you ever see new packaging or a different style box, it means it's a new golf ball inside - just a heads up!

So, Pro V1 or Pro V1x?

Well, the new 2019 versions both provide more ball speed off the face (that equals more distance), lower long game spin (again, for more distance) whilst offering incredible control around the greens.

If you opt for the Pro V1, you'll be following in the footsteps of Paul Casey and Adam Scott by enjoying a mid-flight trajectory and a very soft feel off the face. However, if you choose the Pro V1x like Justin Thomas and Tommy Fleetwood, you'll get a higher trajectory and a slightly firmer ball.
